Since 2004, the American author, Dan Buettner, has teamed up with National Geographic and the National Institute of Aging to identify pockets around the world where people lived measurably better, longer lives.
After locating the world’s 5 ‘Blue Zones’, Buettner took teams of scientists to each location to pinpoint lifestyle characteristics that might explain the unusual longevity. He ended up publishing his findings in his book,
“The Blue Zones Kitchen”
- Sardinia, Italy
- Okinawa, Japan
- Nicoya, Costa Rica
- Ikaria, Greece
- Loma Linda, California
I find it fascinating that, even though spread over different continents, they have so much in common!
I have dissected the various cuisines and put together a program of easy-to-follow, very affordable, extremely delicious recipes.
Including tips for time-saving meal prep to fit into the busiest lives.
You will gain confidence in preparing wholesome, nutritionally complete dishes your whole family will love.
The health & longevity benefits of cruciferous vegetables, along with beans, chickpeas, sweet potatoes, ferments, whole grains, nuts and fruit are pretty incredible. Wouldn’t it be great to stay healthy and young as we age? If we could help to increase ‘Health-span’, not just ‘Life-span’?
I can’t wait to share this class with you!
