Part magical art, part science, the process of fermentation creates probiotic-rich foods that are delicious and healthy.

This is a hands-on Workshop; please bring an apron, 3 glass jars (About 500ml) and lots of energy. .
After all the hard work is done, we will sit down for a gut-healthy lunch.

Your ticket includes all materials, your ferments and pickles and your recipe & nutrition information folder to take home.

Description

Why it is so important for our gut health to incorporate fermented food into our diet? New scientific findings confirm what ancient civilisations have known all along, the connection between our brain and our microbiome has a great influence on the health of our body.
We explore a gut-friendly lifestyle to promote our physical and emotional health.

In this class, you will make pickled vegetables and three different ferments and learn how to look after them at home and how to enjoy them in your daily meals. There will be plenty to taste and lots of information to give you the confidence to start your fermenting adventures.

  • A red cabbage & beet sauerkraut 
  • Korean vegetarian kimchi
  • Fermented chilli sauce
  • A raw kombucha 
  • Gut-friendly pickles

After 2 hours work, we will enjoy a nourishing, gut-healthy lunch and a glass of kombucha.
